Tryouts

Club volleyball season begins in December with practices. Tournaments generally begin in January/February and continue through spring/early summer depending on team level and schedule.

Tryouts for 14s-18s take place in summer. Additional tryouts for these ages will be held in fall as needed. Tryouts for 10s-13s take place in October/November. It is always preferred athletes attend the first available tryout for their age as teams can fill quickly.

Teams and levels of play will be determined based on tryout participation, athlete age and collective skill level. As a member, Inspire CLE Volleyball follows the guidelines of the Ohio Valley Region which designates age and grade level as well as competition division (Regional, American and National) information. Visit ovr.org for details.

Inspire CLE Volleyball is fortunate to have a great group of coaches dedicated to athlete development on and off the court. Our goal is to assign coaches in advance of the season. With some tryouts happening in summer, however, coaching assignments may need to change as the season approaches.

Tryout costs vary based on expenses (e.g., gym time, coaches needed to facilitate, etc.) are $30, and may include processing fees. Tryout fee is paid in advance via the registration link on this website.

The cost to play on a team depends on the level of competition and is generally commensurate with other clubs in the area. Fees will be outlined with contracts when offers are extended. Details of what is included in team fees will be outlined with contracts.

The registration link on this website will walk you through everything you need for tryouts. To summarize:
